Keep syrup of ipecac for use as directed in poisoning emergencies.

Check to see if the temperature on your water heater is set to 120 degrees.

Visit the EPA website for information about environmental concerns.  
See if your home has been tested for radon gas levels or mold.  
If your home was built before 1978, have a lead-paint inspection.
